On the Twitter account of New World, many images of armor sets have been recently presented. These include both simple and higher-grade sets.
This is the armor system in New World: The special thing about New World is that there are no classes. Your armors and weapons and the values they contain determine your play style.
If you want to play a healer, you also need appropriate equipment. In our test in January, for example, the Sages set granted us suitable values, allowing players to take on the role of the healer.
The Trapper set, on the other hand, was particularly useful in combination with ranged combat as it contained many offensive but few defensive values.
These are the first armors: The first six images show us armor sets that haven’t been upgraded significantly yet.
These sets include the already mentioned Sages and Trapper sets. But other roles can also be assumed with the appropriate armor.
Notably, the sets look very realistic and strongly reflect the respective play style.

The first T3 armor: The next two images show an initial T3 armor. These higher-grade armors will be significantly more complex to craft.
This is the Soldiers set, which should be particularly suitable for melee combat.
The world of Aeternum and its mysteries
New video clips: In addition to the new images, small snippets of new areas were also shown on Twitter. It is repeatedly emphasized how mysterious the area of Aeternum is, where we find ourselves.
These mysteries likely include the animal guardians, who roam the world and have caught the attention of our author Leya.
