The MMO New World offers the possibility to level up through gathering, crafting and some neutral quests. The player oRobozinho was the first to reach level 60 without killing any monsters. He spoke about his experiences in a short stream.
What has the player achieved? oRobozinho is the first player to publicly prove that he has reached the maximum level 60 in New World without a kill.
In a livestream on Twitch, he showed his “Vegan-Run” and presented his achievements accordingly. In not a single category did he kill an enemy. Additionally, he still had the quest for level 2 in First Light in the main story.
How did he do it? He leveled up mainly through two methods. One through city quests, for which he did not have to kill enemies, and the other through crafting.
What’s crazy is that he used the gathering tools and swapping of the first tier until the end of the run. Nevertheless, he got very far:
- He brought the gathering professions of logging, mining and harvesting all to level 200
- He also leveled smelting and woodworking to 200 in refining, and leveled stonemasonry and weaving significantly over 100
- In the manufacturing professions, he only surpassed 100 in 3 professions – jewel crafting, arcana and cooking.
- Skinning, fishing, leatherworking as well as the professions of weapon smithing and armor smithing remained at 0
He also completed some faction missions, for which he did not have to defeat any enemies either. You can check out his achievements and more information about the run in this video:
Did he really not kill an enemy? No, because in the tutorial he was forced to defeat one enemy to learn attacking and defending. However, this kill was not counted towards any of his achievements.
At the end of the video, in which he presents his account, he kills a rabbit to “ruin” his account, as he happily tells. No one can take away from him his great success of reaching level 60 without a kill.
