In July, the Closed Beta for New World took place. One of the biggest wishes after the beta was for servers specific to different languages. Amazon is now fulfilling this wish.
Update September 28: In the meantime, New World is live, and we know the German servers for the release. They are somewhat different from the beta servers. More on this here:

What changes will be made to the servers? New World has published a list of all servers in the forum. Some servers have also been set up for the languages German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Polish. However, they have all also been tagged for the English language.
In total, there will be 24 servers in Europe at the launch of the Open Beta. The German servers are:
- Albraca – DE/EN
- Elysium – DE/EN
- Antillia – DE/EN
- Styx – DE/EN
For players from Spain, there are two servers, and for players from France, Italy, and Poland, there is one server each.
All other servers can be found in the New World forum.
Was the demand really that large? Yes, among the major criticisms from our readers were character creation and the servers.
While stability and long wait times were also criticized regarding servers, the interest in servers where players who all speak German can gather was very high and came up repeatedly in the comments later on.

Open Beta starts today, preload is already running
What kind of beta is this? From September 9 at 4:00 PM to September 13 at 8:59 AM, the Open Beta runs. You can participate by signing up for it on Steam. No special beta keys or similar things are required.
Those who sign up early will also get the opportunity to download New World in advance.

Is the beta worth it? Participation in the beta is free and works without pre-ordering. So if you want to find out if New World as a new MMO is worth it, you can use this Open Beta.
However, the progress made in the beta will not be carried over to the release version. So you will only play for 4 days and lose everything afterwards.
