What is the server status of New World? In the afternoon of November 4th, scheduled maintenance work will begin in New World. The developers are taking the servers offline to deploy the new patch 1.0.5. It brings some important bug fixes and adjustments to the two in-game currencies, Coins and Azoth.
The planned maintenance time is as follows:
- At 3:00 PM the servers will go offline
- After 3 hours, around 6:00 PM, they are expected to be back online
- All servers in Europe, America, and the Pacific are affected at the exact same time.
We will keep you updated in this post if there should be an extension of the maintenance or if the developers make any further changes.
What’s in patch 1.0.5? The new update fixes several issues related to weapons, perks, and passive effects. The annoying “0 %” bug in other languages will also finally be fixed, even though it is just a display error.
There are also some improvements to the PvP mode Outpost Rush, which has been long deactivated.
However, the focus is also on changes to the Coins and Azoth. Both currencies will be adjusted so that you generally need to spend less of them. In addition, the main story will be revised to give more Coins at the end than at the beginning.
