New World: Leveling Jewelcrafting quickly to 200 – Here’s how
What does jewel crafting do? Through jewel crafting, you will learn to create rings, earrings, and amulets that you can then place directly into the appropriate equipment slots.
However, you will need gemstones that you can refine through stonemasonry. Additionally, you will later need a high level in tailoring to craft strong equipment items there.
How to level jewel crafting effectively? The most effective way is to create all jewelry with silver and only increase the value of the gemstone once the levels allow it. Which gemstone you use then is also completely irrelevant.
We will show you in this guide how exactly this works.
Where is the best place to get gemstones? Basically, you can obtain gemstones by mining ores (iron, silver, gold, etc.) and through fishing. So, if you collect a lot of silver, you should already have a good stock of materials. However, gemstones at the trading post are still relatively expensive.
Leveling Jewel Smith – Here’s how
Level 1 to 50: For this range, create 51 silver chains, 51 silver settings, and then 51 amulets with a cut damaged gemstone inside (regardless of whether diamond, topaz, opal, etc.).
You will need the following materials:
- 2,040 silver ore or 510 silver bars
- 51 cut damaged gemstones (Tier 2)
Level 50 to 100: For these levels, create 124 silver chains OR 124 silver bands, 124 silver settings, and then 124 amulets OR rings with normal gemstones inside (regardless of whether diamond, topaz, opal, etc.).
You will need the following materials:
- 4,960 silver ore or 1,240 silver bars
- 124 gemstones (Tier 3)
Level 100 to 150: For these levels, create 330 silver chains OR 330 silver bands OR 330 silver hooks, 330 silver settings, and then 330 amulets OR rings OR earrings with brilliant gemstones inside (regardless of whether diamond, topaz, opal, etc.).
You will need the following materials:
- 13,200 silver ore or 3,300 silver bars
- 330 gemstones (Tier 4)
Level 150 to 200: For these levels, create 681 silver chains OR 681 silver bands OR 681 silver hooks, 681 silver settings, and then 681 amulets OR rings OR earrings with flawless gemstones inside (regardless of whether diamond, topaz, opal, etc.).
You will need the following materials:
- 27,240 silver ore or 6,810 silver bars
- 681 gemstones (Tier T5)
