The wars for territories in New World have been facing issues since the release. Especially lags and connection problems are causing frustration among players. Amazon is now addressing the problem, but many players are not happy with the solution.
What is Amazon doing about the issues? In March, a new update will be released that brings a new dungeon and a new weapon. The patch is currently on the test server and is receiving regular updates there.
The latest update has reduced the number of participants in the wars:
- Previously, battles for a territory were fought in 50v50 matches
- In the future, the wars will be conducted in 40v40 matches
While Amazon is addressing the server issues and lags this way, many players consider this solution to be wrong. They felt that the player count of 50v50 was already too small, especially considering that a company can have up to 100 players.

What else is in the new PTR update? The new PTR patch brought over 20 changes, including:
- Registration for the Outpost Rush is now possible from anywhere in the world. You no longer have to run to the faction NPC in settlements.
- You now slowly regenerate health and mana points outside of combat automatically.
- Daily faction missions now give 5x more faction tokens.
- The recipe for the sword “Balance of Time” has been adjusted so that the crafting resources are at the same level as comparable T3 weapons.
