In October 2022, the new area Brimstone Sands was released in New World. But sulfur sand prevents you from entering it immediately. We at MeinMMO reveal what you need to do.
How do I enter the new area? If you just want to walk into the new area Brimstone Sands , you’ll experience a nasty surprise. You die immediately from the sulfur sand.
Therefore, you must first complete a quest. However, the starting point varies depending on your faction.
Additionally, you must reach level 60 first for the quest to be unlocked.
Starting Points and Quest Flow for Brimstone Sands
Where do I get the quest?
- As a Marauder, your quest starts in Everfall. In the settlement, you need to speak with the NPC Tomash Kovalenko.
- As a member of the Covenant, you will meet Tomash Kovalenko in the Deep Gorge area in the left settlement.
- Members of the Syndicate must go to Broken Mountain. There, Tomash Kovalenko awaits you in the left settlement.
The quest you need to complete afterward is identical for all three factions. You need to brew a potion.
This potion consists of: 2x Fish Oil and 3x Frostcliff Berries. Depending on your faction, you will find the berries in different locations that are marked on the map. They are located in the same area as the corresponding NPC.
What happens next? Once you have gathered all the materials, you just need to visit a crafting station of the Arcana profession.
There you will craft the potion. After that, you just need to use it. You will then submit the quest at the first outpost in the new area Brimstone Sands.
