Last week, the upcoming MMO New World dropped the bomb and announced that its release will be delayed again. There was also news on the Twitch front and at Blizzard. We discuss this in the latest episode of the MeinMMO-Podcast.
What happened: After the MMO New World completed its first beta, the developers stated in a statement that they received a lot of feedback from players. Therefore, the release of the game will be delayed again. The news sparked a lot of discussion in the community, with a large portion of fans taking the delay rather calmly.
Diablo 2: Resurrected is also entering beta now. Over the weekend, pre-orderers will dive into the first two acts of Diablo 2. The new zombie game Back 4 Blood, whose beta has appeared on Steam, is likely to interest some classic fans, as it is the spiritual successor to the “Left4Dead” games.
On Twitch, there was unrest due to lowered sub prices, and the legendary German WoW fan site Vanion is now shutting down because the passion for the MMORPG is at an all-time low.
