In the MMORPG New World, the new event Spring Bloom has started. This brings new quests and rewards to the game. We from MeinMMO have collected all the important information.
What kind of event is this? Similar to the Winter Convergence and the Summer Medleyfaire, there are smaller side quests for Spring Bloom, tokens to collect, and various rewards that you can unlock.
However, there are no major innovations. The content can usually be completed in just a few minutes a day.
What are the prerequisites for the event? You must be at least level 20 to participate in the activities.
How long does the event last? The Spring Bloom started on April 26 and will run until May 23.
Party Bags, New Flowers, and Diamond Gypsum in the Cities
What makes the event special? At the core of the event are the Spring Villages, of which there are four in the game. They are located in the regions of Kingsfell, Everfall, Brightwood, and Weavermoor. There, you will find a small quest line that can be completed quickly.
In addition, there is a “Party Bag Pile” in each village. This can be looted once a day, with the reset occurring as usual at 5:00 AM our time. The Party Bags contain the following items:
- Spring Token – Drop Rate: 100 %
- Spring Pattern – Drop Rate: 1.3 %.
- Spring Coin Pouch – Drop Rate: 100 %
- 50 Event Reputation – Drop Rate: 100 %
You need the reputation to unlock new levels of the rewards and the Spring Tokens to be able to buy these rewards at all. The Coin Pouch contains coins (the in-game currency), and the Spring Pattern is needed for special skins.
What are the Fluff Flowers about? The event and the event quests include the Fluff Flowers. These appear in various locations in the world but will only remain until a player harvests them.
Meanwhile, Will-o’-the-wisps disturb them, which you can drive away with Will-o’-the-wisp Spray. You place this on the sides in glowing blue fields.
Typically, a field remains for about one to two minutes. As a reward, you will receive Fluff Flower Leaves, which you can exchange for tokens.
What about the Diamond Gypsum? You will get the Diamond Gypsum to upgrade your equipment during the event from the Spring Heart Pieces, which are located in the settlements – similar to the gift piles at Christmas.
As rewards, you can receive per day from the heart pieces:
- Diamond Gypsum – Drop Rate: 100 %, Limit: 6 per day.
- 1–3 Will-o’-the-wisp Spray – Drop Rate: 100 %
- 25 Event Reputation – Drop Rate: 100 %
- 1–5 additional Will-o’-the-wisp Spray – Drop Rate: 100 %
- 1–3 Dyes – Drop Rate: 66 %
- 1 Spring Punch – Drop Rate: 33 %, temporarily increases luck
- 1 Spring Waffle – Drop Rate: 22 %, temporarily increases the number of Fluff Flowers that players can harvest
- 1 Spring Crumble Cake – Drop Rate: 11 %, temporarily increases constitution
All Rewards from the Spring Event at a Glance
The rewards of the Spring Bloom are divided into 3 ranks. You will automatically receive the first rank, you will reach Rank 2 by completing the two event quests, and for Rank 3 you need to grind a little reputation. In addition to the quests and the Party Bags, exchanging Fluff Flower Leaves for Spring Tokens also grants you reputation.
Note: You can obtain Premium Spring Tokens by interacting with the carts at the edge of a Spring Village and exchanging 25 normal Spring Tokens and 1 vial of resting Azoth.
