In the MMORPG New World, character and weapon levels play a significant role. The higher they are, the better you master the challenges, both in PvE and PvP. However, there are various ways to increase them. MeinMMO shows you one of the best spots in all of Aeternum.
Why is character level so important? With each level up (starting at level 40), you receive 3 or 4 attribute points that you can distribute as you wish, thus strengthening your character. Additionally, you gain more base health per level.
Why is weapon level so important? The higher your weapon’s level, the more ability points you have available. With the maximum level of 20, you can invest 19 points into the skill trees and choose between several good active and passive skills. Here you will find some good PvE builds.

Where can I find this spot? The 2 camps can be found in the “Unstable Coast”, east of the “Sisyphus’ Shrine” (see screenshot). Both leveling spots give you up to 1500 experience per minute, for both your character and your weapons.
What level is this place suitable for? At character level 40, you can already start beating the monsters with a group of 2-3 people. If you are on your own, have good equipment and area-effect attacks (for example, Hammer + War Axe), you can slowly test yourself with level 45.
Maximize your gains: The spawn time of the monsters is very low, less than 1 minute. With the right rotation, you can quickly gather all the monsters in the camp and take them out with area damage simultaneously. You repeat this process until you have enough.
Two extra rewards when you level here
What extra rewards are there? Here a lot of equipment drops, to boost your own loot. Additionally, you receive extra territory reputation.

- Equipment – You can use it yourself, scrap it, or sell it.
- Strong healing potions – Either you use them yourself or put them up for sale at the trading post.
- Territory Reputation
- Each monster gives you extra reputation. This is where you can gain additional experience and advantages.
