The MMORPG New World is launching a free weekend. For a few days, you can play the game for free. After the major updates in recent weeks, it might be worth your while to give it a test.
Why is New World free? The developers announced the free weekend of New World on Steam on their website. Starting from April 7, you can play for free, saving yourself the actual price of at least €40. However, the event only runs for a few days, so those who want to participate should hurry.

How long does it last? The free weekend of New World starts on Thursday, April 7, at 7:00 PM CEST.
The end is expected on Monday, April 11, at 7:00 PM CEST.
This deal is active: New players can purchase New World on offer starting from the event’s start. The standard edition and the deluxe edition are available until April 18 at 7:00 PM CEST with a 40% discount on Steam.
What about progress? Those who take advantage of the free trial can transfer their progress to the “full” version afterwards. It will be saved. So if you get a taste of it and want to play the paid version after the free weekend, you can continue where you left off.
What is not possible? If you play with a free account, you cannot purchase items in the shop. In-game purchases are only unlocked for you after you buy the game.
