When does the update come? The patch is already live, and you can download it anytime.
How large is the update? On PS5, the update is about 3.8 GB in size. On other platforms, the size is likely similar.
What’s in the update? The coveted new operator ‘Snoop Dogg’ went live with the update. You can get his cosmetic bundle for 2,400 CoD Points. However, 2 of the 10 items are Vanguard-exclusive:
Otherwise, the developers have made adjustments to the events in regular Battle Royale. For instance, events from the earlier game mode Vanguard Royale were added, and the timing of loadout drops was adjusted:
- Loadout Drops
- The first drop comes even earlier
- The second drop remains in the 5th gas circle
- New In-Match Events
- Refill (refills loot depots)
- Cash Drops
- ‘Heavy Weapons’ Drops
- Revival
- Guaranteed Events at Match Start
- Heavy Weapons Box
- Loot Boxes
- Guaranteed Events 4th Gas Circle
- Refill
- Shooting Sale
The developers want to further refine the event rotation and respond to player feedback. The increase of health points to 150 was just the first step.
In addition to the changes, a few bug fixes made it into the game:
- Fixed additional broken spots on the Caldera map
- Resolved issues with the descriptions of the perks ‘Refill’ and ‘Patch Up’
- Removed incorrect button displays when playing with the controller
- Fixed issues with friend invitations via the social menu
- Removed a glitch that allowed entering the ‘Golden Bunkers’
There were also some minor visual bug fixes. If you want to see the complete patch notes for yourself, you can find them with the developers at Raven Software (via ravensoftware.com).
Warzone is still removing some bugs before Season 3 kicks off properly. There have already been some teasers, and everything looks like Godzilla will haunt the island of Caldera.
If you have always wanted a Godzilla movie with Snoop Dogg in the lead role, you probably won’t get closer than in Warzone Season 3.
