The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was very successful, but not without issues. Step by step, the developers are fixing the technical stress, including with the latest update 1.08.

When is the update coming? The patch is already online.
How large is the update? This time it is very varied, and especially players on Xbox report very large download files.
While PlayStation and Steam players report a few hundred MB, some Xbox players have to download up to 50 GB. Some even over 90 GB like MeinMMO user “Wolfram”.
What’s included in the update? The official patch notes are online, and the following was fixed or changed:
- General errors resolved – crashes, progress issues, performance
- Weapon tuning / attachment tuning has returned
- Issues with crashes when playing in a group
- Various bugs and exploits on different maps
- Issues with the current Nvidia drivers fixed
- Weapon updates will come with Season 1
- The user interface in the player is continuing to be revised – changes will come with Season 1
- Known errors and fixes that the developers are working on
Additionally, there have been updates on the developers’ Trello board – here the responsible parties collect known errors and fixes that they are working on.
Currently, there are no indications as to why the update is taking such large dimensions for some Xbox players.
