For the trailer shows not much in 50 seconds and mainly does not reveal what exactly is being announced. It is only clear that it is about new content called “Desolation Wake”. However, we do not yet know what exactly this includes.

What speculations do the players have? Since the trailer does not tell us what players can expect from the new content, they have expressed their own speculations on X.
Many believe that it is a DLC that definitely focuses on the train. One user even directly asks if this is the update everyone has been waiting for. In fact, many comments suggest that players are hoping for an update that allows them to drive the train themselves.

Player has a wild idea about a new boss enemy

Or … a new boss on the train? An evil train man, yeah. Or … the train is the boss! Like a helicopter boss, just a train.”
However, other players also suspect that behind the short trailer could simply be a new map. Many have also expressed a desire for a new map for some time now.
