With the latest release of the Legends of New World trailer series, Amazon is once again heating up the fans. The new trailer from September 23 shows the factions battling the dangers of Aeternum, the island where New World takes place.
What happened in New World? This new MMORPG has released its previous trailers multiple times in series. You could follow a family finding the right house for them and look over the shoulders of the legends of New World.
In the new video of the Legends of New World series, you can once again watch the heroes fight and get a small portion of story served alongside. With this third part, the series also comes to an end, making it perfect to hype up the fans of New World once more.
What happens in the trailer? At first, the helmet of one of the marauders in the game is shown, before zooming in on the engravings which then form another image. You can see a handful of shipwrecked people on a sandy beach, who shortly after try to reach one of the settlements.
At the same time, a narrator speaks in a dark voice, stating that the fates of all are forged anew every day on the eternal island. You then see three representatives of the factions of New World in front of the banners with the emblems of their community.
The narrator continues and informs you that you have been chosen by fate and have received a second chance at life. You are to join the fight against the dangers of Aeternum and choose the right allies. Again, the factions are prominently displayed in their typical armor.

Finally, the image zooms out again, showing you the helmet of the marauder from the beginning, only now its left eye glows red, like many of the villains in New World. The narrator ends his text by telling you that it is up to you to shape a new fate.
“I just can’t wait anymore”
What does the community say? The trailer seems to bear fruit, as the fans of New World appear to be absolutely hyped by the one-minute video. On YouTube, the trailer currently (September 24) has 1,688 thumbs up and only 18 negative ratings.
User DukeSloth also receives a lot of praise for his comment: “Let’s go, the video puts me in the exact right mood for the release.”
- User obsiosiris is surprised by himself and writes: “The first game in 5 years that I’m really looking forward to.”
- Simon Linser also writes under the video: “Honestly, the style of these trailers combined with the narrator is just great. I get goosebumps.”
- AbezDota complains about too much anticipation: “What a game, man. I don’t know if I can sleep before it finally releases.”
- User Tzunny sees the Legends trailer more ironically and writes: “It would be nice if these legends could even swim in 2021.”
He refers with his comment to the fact that you play a shipwrecked person on an island in New World, but still cannot swim. This small inconsistency has often caused laughter within the community.
When does it start?
When does New World release? While we hope that AbezDota finds sleep before the game comes out, if not, the launch is very close now. The MMORPG by Amazon releases on September 28.
The preload starts on September 27 for all pre-order customers so that anyone who wants can jump directly onto the servers at launch.
