Newcomers have a hard time in the dungeons of WoW. Especially when they take on the important roles of tank or healer. A recent experience report from the community emphasizes this once again.
What happened in WoW? Strithor reports on Reddit about visiting a timewalking dungeon – a simple PvE challenge in World of Warcraft that many experienced players want to get through as quickly as possible.
As the tank of the group, there was apparently a low-level character who was evidently a newcomer. Since they apparently pulled trash groups that could have been skipped right at the start, the tank was kicked within less than a minute. Apparently, everyone except for Strithor had voted for the exclusion.
Strithor himself stated that he left the group afterwards because he did not want to be a part of that. His appeal: “We need to be better as a community, especially if we want this game to exist for another 20 years.”
WoW has often been declared dead, and the following video revolves around three of those moments:

How does the community react to this? The over 1,400 upvotes and over 350 comments after just a few hours show that Strithor has struck a chord.
