Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore is an upcoming survival game that you play in multiplayer. The game comes from “Blankhans”, an indie studio in Germany.
The setting is “Ultracore”, a pen & paper world created by Hauke Gerdes. He worked as a community manager at the German channel Rocket Beans TV and has already made a name for himself among fans.

What to expect in the Alpha of Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore
In Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore, you find yourself in the land of Tormentosia, which is torn apart by the conflict of various races. However, the world is threatened by Sorgoth, “Devourer of Worlds”.
The various kingdoms come together and create the “Ultracore”, a kind of shield that encompasses part of the lands to keep the threat at bay.
However, darkness is gathering at the edge of the area. Your task will be to reclaim lands and establish a reconstruction.
This way, you build a city, expand it, and defend it against attackers. Besides, you go on exploration, search for resources, and reclaim the “Dust Lands”. You are not alone: you can build, trade, and explore the lands together with others.

How is the community reacting to the gameplay? So far, there are still relatively few comments under the video on YouTube. However, most comments are positive and some can hardly wait to play Coreborn themselves:
- shipster: ‘It keeps getting better!’
- asrael42: ‘I can’t wait to play it for the first time.’
- T S: ‘I can hardly wait to see if I’m selected for the closed alpha.’
When will Coreborn be released? The developers have not yet given a specific date. However, they plan to release it in early access later this year. The full release is scheduled for 2024.
In the meantime, regular playtests are planned, as the developers want to work closely with the community. Tests will be communicated through Discord and social media, so interested players can register in time.
