Omega Crafter will launch in a few days with Early Access on Steam. The game impresses with a colorful world and companions that you can program yourself. MeinMMO reveals the details.
What kind of game is this? Omega Crafter is an open-world survival crafting game set in a video game world affected by mysterious glitches. Players are invited to embark on an exciting adventure together with their Grammi companions and other players. The goal is to build a city, defeat powerful bosses, and advance the development of the video game.
You can play Omega Crafter solo or team up with friends in multiplayer mode to face the dangers together.
In the game, you will fight against various monsters and bosses that try to sabotage the game’s development. In the world, you will find a variety of resources, from simple stones and wood to unexplored materials. You can automate your work processes with the help of your Grammis.

Program your own companions
What are Grammis? In Omega Crafter, you have companions called Grammis. Grammis are loyal companions that remind you of the Pals from Palworld. Your Grammis assist you with various tasks to make survival easier:
- Collecting resources
- Building
- and also fighting
Each Grammi can be programmed by you to perform specific tasks. For instance, you could instruct it, according to GamesRadar, to mine a rock until it breaks and then move on to find another resource.
Alternatively, a Grammi could be tasked with harvesting crops, gathering them, and storing them safely. It is possible to combine multiple instructions and save them to have precise control over what the Grammis do.
When will the game be released? Omega Crafter is planned to go into Early Access on March 29, 2024. The game will be available on Steam for PC.
The game is expected to remain in Early Access for at least a year and will be continuously updated during that time to incorporate player feedback. According to the development team Preferred Networks
, the full version will be expanded with additional content such as new biomes, equipment, monsters, and boss fights – based on player feedback.
