The closed beta for an upcoming survival game starts soon, where you will live the dangerous life of a Viking. We will show you how to sign up for the test.
What kind of game is it? The game is called ASKA and is a survival game on Steam that can be played by up to 4 players together. ASKA takes place in a Viking setting, where you must build your own village and command the villagers.
In addition, you will travel with your Viking ship through a procedurally generated world and gather resources to prepare your village for a threat that is looming in the winter.
On November 23, ASKA will launch a closed beta, for which you can sign up via the developers’ Discord server.

Survival Game with a Viking Focus
What does ASKA offer in terms of gameplay? ASKA revolves around the life of a Viking. This includes daily and genre-typical tasks such as hunting and fishing, gathering resources, and crafting items. Moreover, you can build houses, workshops, farms, and castles, as well as fortifications.
Of course, being a true Viking also involves traveling to distant lands, which is why you can steer your own Viking ship in ASKA. It is also said that you can individually customize it. On the game’s Discord server, it is additionally mentioned that you can transform into a raven and explore the map flying this way.
Once you reach a new land, you can establish outposts and supply lines that provide your settlements with resources. You can also assign various tasks to the villagers of your settlements, so they support your tribe. Additionally, you can tame wolves and make them your loyal companions.
Your survival in ASKA is complicated by a dynamic weather system with different seasons and mystical enemies. Nevertheless, to have a chance, you can learn abilities and powers. It is also possible to perform attack combinations with various melee weapons and to use a bow or dodge enemy attacks.
ASKA: Closed Beta in November – Here’s how you can join
When does the ASKA beta run? The closed beta of ASKA starts on November 23, 2023, and ends on the following December 3.
Important: Sign-ups for the closed beta close on November 21 at 00:00!
How do I participate in the beta? To participate in the closed beta of ASKA, you must join the official Discord server of the game. Afterwards, you need to complete a few short steps like accepting the rules and then you will be able to see the channel closed-beta
. In that channel, you will find a link to a form that you also need to fill out.
In the form, you will be asked about your favorite games and genres, as well as whether you want to play ASKA alone or with friends. In that case, you can enter your friends’ emails, who may also be invited.

By completing the registration, you do not guarantee that you will actually participate in the closed beta. Based on the forms, the developers decide who receives an invitation. If you are selected for the closed beta, you will receive a code via email.
Additionally, you must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to participate in the closed beta, for which you must be over 18 years old. Recording and streaming gameplay is also prohibited.
