In Pokémon GO, you will soon save the world from the machinations of Team Rocket. A data miner has now found the quests for the special research in the code.
What has been found? The data miner Chrales found a new special research on Team Rocket, new badges, a new attack, and new Shadow Pokémon in the code of Pokémon GO.
This discovery comes shortly after the finding of the new special research with Jirachi.
Team Rocket has been a part of Pokémon GO since the latest update. The special research suggests that you should interact with the villains to complete tasks.
What are the quests about? Initially, you will be made aware in the special research that PokéStops look strange. This has to do with the arrival of Team Rocket. You should strengthen your Pokémon in the quests as preparation.
Team GO Rocket are the new opponents who steal resources at PokéStops with their Shadow Pokémon. You should obtain such Pokémon from Team GO Rocket, which will then be analyzed with Candela.
Finally, a solution is found to purify the Pokémon. And you are supposed to help with that and save the world from calamity together.
When does the special research with Team GO Rocket start? A start date has not yet been announced or leaked. Players suspect that it would start after the GO Fest in Japan. So sometime after August 12. But these are mere speculations. Other players hope that this research could start later this week.
It is assumed that initially the new update in Pokémon GO must be enforced on devices before the new quests can begin. This has not happened yet.
