On Steam, United Assault – Battle of the Bulge is now available for just 8 euros in Early Access. The title from the German developer Polygon Art is a WWII shooter. It already offers a campaign and promises a multiplayer and cooperative mode for the future.

You infiltrate enemy territory as a British soldier, traversing the open world in search of a secret German V2 factory in the Ardennes, Northern France.
United Assault belongs to the rogue-lite genre. If you fail on your mission, you lose everything and must start over. Battle of the Bulge is the successor to United Assault – Normandy ’44.

Planned Updates: Multiplayer & Coop
What content is still planned? After the particularly well-known YouTuber Ranzratte from the Battlefield community published a video about the game, the founder of Polygon Art commented under the video detailing his plans for the game.
There, he mainly spoke about the fact that both a multiplayer and a coop mode will come. Furthermore, he has announced the first content update for United Assault – Battle of the Bulge for the current 15th calendar week of 2022.
Polygon Art also emphasized that he is developing the game alone and therefore needs a lot of time for some things and depends on feedback.
Yes, the AI is not quite finished yet. However, a patch has already been released that further improves it. I’m developing the game alone, so some things just take a bit of time and especially a lot of feedback! And yes, a multiplayer + coop will come! This week will already bring Content Update 1!

What is the development status? United Assault – Battle of the Bulge is currently listed on Steam as an “Early Access” title. Therefore, the game is still in the development phase, and a full release is still pending.
The store page of the game on Steam also states that it is still in alpha status. It is playable, but planned content is still missing, and it currently still has bugs and unfinished features.
