Hell let Loose has been available on PC via Steam for some time now. The Closed Beta for PlayStation 5 is currently ongoing, and in a new video, the developers reveal the release date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What kind of shooter is this? Hell let Loose is a shooter where you play a soldier in World War II. The battles include up to 100 players (50 per side) with historical weapons and realistic conditions.
Ballistics and recoil are designed to feel as authentic as possible, and you fight on 9 maps across different fronts in history – such as Omaha Beach or the Eastern Front.
In two different modes, you play one of 14 classes, including Engineers, Snipers, Commanders, and Tank Crews. You fulfill important roles like Reconnaissance or Infantry.
When is Hell let Loose coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X? Until now, Hell let Loose was only available on PC. However, the developers announced that a version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be released on October 5, 2021. There is also a new trailer:

How is Hell let Loose received? Since its release in July 2021, Hell let Loose has captivated players on Steam. With over 31,000 reviews, players rate the shooter as “very positive” (85%; via Steam).
Player numbers are also impressive: In August, an average of over 4,800 players were online, peaking at over 11,700 (via steamcharts.com). Since release, numbers have slightly decreased but remain relatively stable.
How is the beta performing? The closed PS5 beta of Hell let Loose started in early September. However, there are some issues. High pings and connection drops make the shooter difficult to play for some.
The developers are working on a solution and are optimistic that they will have good news soon. They even joke that they accidentally “awakened Big Hans” while digging for a solution:
The beta has been extended due to the issues; it was originally set to end on September 6. However, those who prefer to wait until all issues are resolved will have to hold out until October 5.
