The new Renetti pistol came with Season 3 to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone and quickly gained some fans. With its 3-shot burst, it reliably takes out enemies. But with the right setup, it can do even more and allows you to create entirely new loadouts.
With Season 3, the large weapon collection of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone received further additions – The DMR SKS and the Renetti pistol. Especially the pistol is now drawing attention, as it is quite powerful and with the right setup, it even ranks among the best weapons in the game.
Season 3 Battle Pass Pistol beats even the best TTK values
What makes the Renetti so strong? The weapon comes with an attachment that makes it unique among pistols – a 3-shot burst. With the “Mk3 Burst Mod,” the weapon fires 3 shots at enemies immediately when the trigger is pulled and can inflict a lot of damage in a short time.
The CoD YouTuber JGOD took a closer look at the pistol and presented the weapon’s stats in his English video.
| Damage | 0-10m | 10-20m | 20m+ |
| Body | 33 | 28 | 23 |
| Chest | 42 | 36 | 29 |
| Head | 72 | 61 | 50 |
These values also apply to the burst shots. In Modern Warfare and Warzone (without plates), you have 100 health. You can achieve kills with 3 chest hits with this pistol at up to 20 meters. Combined with the 3-shot burst, the time-to-kill (TTK) is incredibly low for a pistol. But it gets even better.
What does the OP setup look like? With the right setup, the TTK drops to a ridiculously low value. This makes the pistol a top choice, and it beats many of the weapons that usually excel at close ranges. Even shotguns have to be cautious.
- Barrel: Mk3 Burst Mod
- Laser: 5mW Laser
- Trigger: Lightweight Trigger
- Ammunition: 27 round magazine
- Extra: Akimbo
Unlike shotguns, this pistol has the Akimbo perk. You get a second version of this 3-shot monster into your hands and can unleash 6 bullets on enemies instead of 3. Not good for your ammo reserve, but even worse for enemies who get too close. According to JGOD’s measurements, the TTK values are truly incredibly low, even without headshots:
| TTK (10m) | 100 HP | 250 HP |
| Semi | 181 | 544 |
| Semi Akimbo | 91 | 272 |
| Burst | 50 | 300 |
| Burst Akimbo | 25 | 75 |
100 as the standard health value in multiplayer and 250 with full plates in Warzone
How fast is that in comparison? Those are absolute top values. While you need to place your hits well to achieve these values, even with a few missed shots, you can quickly take out enemies – in Warzone and regular multiplayer.
The MP “Striker 45” can achieve kills in 117ms in multiplayer with the 2-shot modification and is thus one of the fastest killers. This value pales in comparison to the 25ms. The Renetti thus appears overpowered (OP).
From the list of the strongest Warzone weapons, among the automatic weapons, the AUG with the 5.56 conversion kit ranks first with 440ms and cannot compete with the 75ms. Even the R9-0, with its powerful double shot, looks weak. 100ms is how long it takes for a kill with full armor.
How can you benefit further? With these values, the Renetti is asserting itself as a strong secondary weapon and could push some SMGs or shotguns out of the loadouts. This way, you can save the red perk “Overkill” to bring in a second primary weapon.
You can thus create entirely new loadouts since this new pistol performs as well as a strong primary weapon. Sometimes even better. Instead of “Overkill,” you can then take other strong support perks like “Battle Hardened” or “Ghost,” although this perk is currently a little glitchy.
The weapon is available in the Battle Pass at level 15, and you should definitely give it a try. It takes a while to unlock the corresponding attachments, but it could be worth it.
