What is the backstory of Caliste and G2 Esports? In October 2024, there were rumors of an offer from G2 Esports to Karmine Corp. Caliste was supposed to go to the 16-time LEC champions G2 Esports for an exorbitantly high transfer fee. Along with a monetary amount, the two former players Yike and Mikyx, as well as the current ADC Hans Sama from G2 were also part of the deal. Karmine Corp rejected the offer and decided to keep Europe’s new star player.
