The submachine gun PPSh-41 from Vanguard is considered by many players to be the new best SMG in Call of Duty: Warzone shortly after the Pacific update. MeinMMO shows you why the Soviet weapon leaves such a strong impression on Caldera.
What kind of weapon is this? The PPSh-41 originated from Soviet arms factories and went into mass production in 1940 during the early stages of World War II. The submachine gun was very popular among soldiers because it combined high firepower with good reliability.
Similar properties are offered by the PPSh-41 from CoD: Vanguard in the free battle royale Warzone. Although the SMG has already undergone a nerf, it still stays on track and brings you a lot of damage with pleasant control.
MeinMMO shows you a tested weapon setup and the pros and cons that the rapid-fire SMG presents in Warzone.

What advantages does the PPSh-41 offer? Following the remodeling of the Vanguard weapons to their “state 1.0”, analyses of the specific time-to-kill values of the weapons are still pending.
However, the PPSh-41 was the strongest SMG among the new Vanguard weapons in Warzone before the remodeling and continues to be a top choice.
The PPSh-41 is a close-combat fighter with the suggested setup, specialized for house fights or battles at close ranges.
Because of its high fire rate, missed shots do not matter as much and only slightly increase the time-to-kill. The fire rate, along with strong control in close combat and the large magazine, make it easy to play the SMG.
What disadvantages does the PPSh-41 have? As mentioned, the PPSh is a close-combat weapon, and once your opponents are at a medium distance from you, the SMG loses its punch.
It can still be controlled well, but you will noticeably need more bullets for a kill.
Due to the high fire rate and large magazines, one tends to burn through ammunition. Without resupply, you can only reload the hefty 71-round magazine twice.
Furthermore, there are certainly more stable options if your SMG should remain effective even at medium distance: 2 new weapon setups in CoD Warzone offer “literally no recoil”.
Who should use the PPSh? Currently, the PPSh is considered the best SMG option for direct close combat. If you’re looking for sniper support, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
But if you want a nimble submachine gun for your close combat duels, grab the PPSh now before another nerf hits the weapon.
The weapon meta of Call of Duty: Warzone is in strong flux and it is still not quite clear in which direction it is heading. We will keep you updated on MeinMMO and will update our list of the best weapons in Warzone accordingly.
Feel free to tell us which weapons you are using after the launch of the new map of Warzone and discuss with us in the comments about alternatives.
