A new playlist update brings some changes today, May 12, for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and CoD: Warzone for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. MeinMMO tells you what the update contains.
What is this update? In today’s playlist update, the available game modes for the Multiplayer of Modern Warfare are primarily changing. Additionally, some new contents will be available in the shop that may interest Warzone players.
The playlists change as follows:
- Gun Game Reloaded is now in the Quick Play filter
- “Dirty Old Houseboat” – playlist featuring Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House 24/7
- Ground War replaces Ground War on Foot from last week’s update
- Gunfight: Plans as a new game mode
The new game modes were previously announced in the community update for the patch on May 12. Additionally, there should be new bundles in the shop that make a new operator available – presumably the last for Season 3. However, the Iskra bundle is currently not available yet.
New bundles and operator Iskra – Patch Notes
Who is Iskra? Iskra is the newest operator from Modern Warfare and presumably the last for Season 3, in which a total of three new playable characters were introduced (Alex, Ronin, and Iskra).
She is a female operator hailing from Urzikstan, the country where the conflict and the gripping story of Modern Warfare take place.
You should be able to buy Iskra together with her operator bundle for 2400 CoD Points in the shop (equivalent to 19.99€). The bundle includes:
- The Saboteur skin for Iskra
- two legendary weapon plans and a knife skin
- a skin for the helicopter
- a watch
- additional cosmetics
However, it seems the bundle is not yet available in the shop. During our test, it was not listed as a purchase option.
What other bundles are available? Instead, the developers have introduced a different bundle for operator Mace. In this “Guns Blazing” bundle are:
- the “Tombstone” skin for Mace
- two legendary weapon plans
- a finisher
- an epic knife skin
- a watch and additional cosmetics
The bundle also costs 2400 CoD Points (19.99€).
Furthermore, the US site Dexerto reports that a bundle with legendary plans for an LMG and a sidearm should be coming, named “Twin Suns”. However, this is not yet found in the shop.
So far, there is no further information about new contents expected to come with today’s update. However, a new weapon has already been discovered that may come in Season 4. We will keep you updated as soon as new details emerge.
