What bonuses are there? The event focuses on Grass-type Pokémon. The following bonuses are available:
- Grass-type Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild, including Bellsprout, Oshawott, Sunkern, and Budew.

- Grass-type Pokémon appear more frequently in raids.

Is there a Shiny? A new Shiny has not been announced yet. However, there will definitely be an old Shiny, Sunkern, appearing more frequently in the wild.
On the announcement image for the event, a Bellsprout can be seen, so many players suspect that this Pokémon will appear in its shiny form. However, this is not confirmed.
Which Pokémon can learn new moves? The two new moves will be learnable by several Pokémon:
- Acid Spray: Arbok, Venusaur, Tentacruel, Swalot, Alolan Swalot, Gyarados, Chinchou, Octillery, Swalot.
- Grass Mixer: Venusaur, Tangela.
This could also happen: It is quite interesting that there are no additional bonuses, like extra Stardust or XP. This suggests that Niantic has something else planned. However, this is just speculation for now.
What lies behind the regional exchange: The exchange of Lunatone and Sunkern was anticipated. After all, these two Pokémon changed regions during the summer solstice last year. This is a similar event to the equinox.
The Plant Event directly follows the Rayquaza Raid Weekend:
