A new hero in Overwatch is waiting in the wings, and Blizzard is doing everything possible to tease more information in recent days. On Twitter, there was now a new image, along with the words “I’ll knock some sense into you!” or translated: “Ich prügel dir die Vernunft ein!”
The image shows the blueprint of a new weapon, and the words are in Swedish. It suggests that the weapon is a flail, a pole weapon with a chain attached (or also a morning star).
However, particularly interesting is a small detail in the bottom right corner of the image. A cat paw can be seen striking at a toy mouse. A cat of the same fur color has already been shown in the past – in a family photo of Torbjörn and his family in the Christmas comic!
Thus, the chance increases that the next Overwatch heroine is indeed Brigitte, who enters as an engineer. However, we do not yet know what role she will play.
Not Brigitte, but the Queen?
However, some users on Reddit and Twitter have also pointed out that there is already a character who uses a similar weapon model: the Queen. This character only appeared on the Junkertown map and can repeatedly be heard in voice lines. She is depicted on a poster and her weapon, which closely resembles the illustration, can be seen.
