In this spin-off of the horror game series, your creativity is required. Here, any machine built in the strangest way can lead you to victory. Because the rule is: as long as it fulfills its task, your creation is a success!
What is it about? In Hello Engineer, you are once again solo or together with 3 friends on the run. This time, you have been abducted by your creepy neighbor to a bizarre amusement park from which you need to escape. Collect scrap to build unique machines with which you challenge the neighbor and his evil bots. Whether you reach your goal rolling, flying, or hopping is left to your creativity.
When is it released? The game will be released today at 6:00 PM. You can already follow the countdown to the release on helloengineer.com.
It will be available for PS4, Xbox, and PC.
What does the trailer show? The trailer showcases the building mechanics. You use the scrap from the park, where you also find engines, gears, but also weapons and jet engines, to equip your machines for the escape. There seem to be many different functions that you need to use to adapt your creations to your changing needs.
The various machines in the trailer show that there doesn’t seem to be a prescribed solution for that. The different levels will present you with always different challenges, for which you need to design a machine that brings you to your goal.
It may happen that some machines become so complex that you can only control them as a team and can only reach your goal together.
Whether you can expect a big story is not revealed by the trailer. Lots of building fun and crazy rides might already be worth a look.
