Today, on October 14th, the release of “Dragonball: The Breakers” is coming up. However, this is not a usual fighting game set in the Dragonball world, but an asymmetric multiplayer.
When will Dragonball: The Breakers be released?The official release date of the new Dragonball game is October 14, 2022. It was first announced in November 2021.
The game will be released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. It is also compatible with the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, but there is currently no separate version for those consoles.

Fleeing from Dragonball villains with civilians
This is what you can expect in the game:The world of Dragonball is known for its overpowering characters like Son Goku or Vegeta, but also villains like Frieza, Boo, and Cell.
The latter also play a significant part in “The Breakers”. Each one of them acts as a “Raider” in a game round and faces 7 characters who must flee from him.
These “Survivors” are not strong Saiyans but characters like the pig Oolong, Bulma, the farmer, or self-created characters.
It’s not about a duel but a race for survival – quite similar to Dead by Daylight, where you try to escape from gruesome killers as a survivor.
In a round, a total of 8 players compete – one powerful Raider and 7 “civilians”. Both sides can use different abilities.
This is what civilians can do:You can create your own civilians and try to reach the “Super Time Machine” to escape before Frieza, Cell, or Boo finish you off. To do this, players need to collect power keys and defend the machine’s starting system to escape in the end.
You can also use gadgets and abilities to defend yourself. For example, you can blind the Raider with a Solar Flare, or use “Transpheres” and the “Dragon Transformation” to unleash abilities like Son Goku’s Kamehameha on the Raiders.
Most of the time, you’ll find yourself fleeing. Here you can rely on various vehicles and the grappling hook. Finally, there is a camouflage mechanic – so you can look like a vase that the Raider does not recognize.
What can Raiders do?The three Raiders are much more powerful than the civilians. They have multiple developmental stages. As in the manga and anime, they aim to annihilate the civilians. When they reach new forms, they can even level entire areas of the map.
Furthermore, the Raiders can destroy the starting system of the Super Time Machine. Then the civilians need to try to call individual escape vehicles via signal flares.
