Nexon announced that it is developing the MMORPG V4 (Victory Four) for PC. The game has already garnered attention earlier as a mobile game due to its simply stunning graphics: We show you gameplay and the new trailer.
What is V4? The MMORPG was originally announced by Nexon for smartphones (iOS/Android), but thanks to Unreal Engine 4, it has such good graphics that it is also suitable as a PC game.
You will experience adventures in a beautiful fantasy world, team up with other players, and fight monsters and bosses. Additionally, crafting and resource gathering as well as guild gameplay play a significant role. For example, there are massive guild wars.
You create your character from several classes, which, however, have a gender lock.
It looks so good
What is special about the game? There are three special features. One is the graphics. V4 looks stunning thanks to the Unreal Engine 4. The first trailers make your mouth water. Especially the landscapes appear almost photorealistic.
No wonder that the Korean mobile version, which launched on November 7, runs smoothly only on the latest and most powerful smartphones, and even Android emulators struggle.
V4 is thus one of the most graphically impressive MMORPGs – and not just for smartphones.
Another special feature is that you can earn the most powerful items in the game. This is not a given for an Asian MMORPG. The developers state that you should be among the best players even if you spend little money.
V4 also has a special server structure. There is basically one main server on which everyone plays. However, this is divided into several so-called inter-servers that are all interconnected, allowing for world PvP, for example.
This server structure is intended to enable smoother gameplay without overly splitting players into different worlds, as they are all still connected through the main server.
Release in Europe is not confirmed yet
When is the PC version coming and what does it offer? The PC version of V4 is expected to be released in Korea in December 2019. The version will apparently be adapted for mouse and keyboard controls. Graphically, not much needs to be changed as the game looks fantastic already.
Will the game come to us? Currently, there is no date for a release in the USA and Europe. The team has also not yet committed to whether V4 will be released internationally at all. This likely depends on the success of the game in Asia.
Since Nexon also published the games HIT and OVERHIT here, the chances are not bad.
