A new MMORPG has been announced with Warlords Awakening, which aims to provide a similar gaming experience to Lost Ark, which many are currently awaiting. But that sounds somewhat familiar… Warlords Awakening seems to be the third attempt to bring the Korean MMORPG ELOA to the West.
Lost Ark aims to become a kind of Diablo MMORPG, and this newly announced online game Warlords Awakening hits that mark as well.
Diablo as an MMO
Conquer the world! The story of Warlords Awakening revolves around you as a warrior embarking on a long journey. The goal: You want to become one of the powerful Elite Lords who can conquer the entire world of Epheia. Along the way, you will face many challenges.
A true MMORPG in the style of Diablo. Multiple classes, many quests, fast-paced and action-packed battles against hordes of enemies, and the search for loot – all this in an MMO environment where you encounter other players. Warlords Awakening aims to achieve a lot:
- Complete many quests
- Fight together with friends against gigantic boss enemies
- Create your hero from the five classes Blood Knight, Mage, Seer, Hunter, and Assassin Warrior
- Each class has three different combat positions that you choose in battles and must use against specific types of enemies
- Try to rise to the status of an Elite Lord to further improve these combat positions
- Develop your hero through three skill trees for each class
- Use powerful combos in battles
- You collect new weapons and gear throughout the adventures to become the strongest Warlord in the world
- Explore many dungeons and participate in raids
- Use mounts to explore the vast game world
- Pets that you can also breed offer you certain advantages
- Team up with up to 3 friends to combat other players in PvP modes
ELOA – the third attempt, but well disguised
That sounds somewhat familiar. Warlords Awakening was previously known as ELOA Online, Elite Lord of Alliance. However, it was not particularly successful, which is why the developers have revised it and are now re-releasing it. However, “Warlords Awakening” avoids any references to ELOA.
Currently, there is no release date set for the MMORPG Warlords Awakening. However, it is expected to be released sometime in 2018 via Steam.
