Night Crows shows us another beautiful in-game trailer. Additionally, developer WeMade has released the sign-up page for the playtest, but this is more about NFTs than about game features.
What kind of game is this? Night Crows is a Korean MMORPG from WeMade, playable on PC or mobile. The game was released in Korea in April 2023 and aims to impress with photorealistic graphics and a medieval setting. A very beautiful open world and huge PvP battles with up to 1000 players await you. It is set in 13th century Europe and offers 8 different classes.
What was shown in the trailer? Night Crows has now released a new in-game trailer that confirms the global launch. Although the title was already released in Korea months ago, we are only shown in-game scenes and no gameplay. But there is good news: A date has been announced for test registration, starting from January 11, 2024, you can sign up for the game test.
Here you can see the new trailer:

What is planned for monetization? The Korean title from WeMade has recently made headlines because the developer earned €1.4 million per day with the game. Since the game’s success, work is also being done on a global release.
With the countdown to sign up for the game test, Night Crows shows us first insights into the monetization for the global launch of the MMORPG. This is mainly about NFTs.
What does that look like? On the registration page, we find an introduction to the topic of “Tokenomics” with the subtitle “The Completion of a Blockchain Economy”. WeMade plans to use their blockchain service “WEMIX3.0” for the game.
Players generate value within the game by participating. This value is represented by so-called “multi-utility tokens”. These “tokens” are your in-game items that you should trade using blockchain technology. All items thus also have a real money value. Mir4 from the same developer WeMade has over a million players but a large number of bots, with which attempts are made to earn money.
In addition to the “tokens”, players in Night Crows will be able to create NFTs of characters, which can also be traded for real money on a marketplace.
In plain language: You can buy items, equipment, and entire characters of other players with real money.
Recently, developer WeMade released a trailer for another MMORPG, which will be released in 2024 and is set in Norse mythology. Whether NFTs, tokens, and blockchain will also be used there remains to be seen.
