The MMORPG Swords of Legends Online introduced its new class – the Bard. The Bard fights with string instruments and the powers of nature. Suitable as a healer and DPS.
What kind of class is this? You play the Bard either as ranged DPS or as a supporter, depending on your preference. What is special about this class is that string instruments are used as weapons.
When the Bard combines his sounds with the powers of nature, powerful spells are unleashed. You can attack from afar with these. If you prefer playing as a supporter, you can heal and support the group with cheerful melodies.
The Bard and his two specializations
Depending on your preferred playstyle, there are two paths available to you. They specialize the area of responsibility of this class. The Bard also has a special forge that can be summoned before battle to strengthen his group with buffs.

Dissonance as Ranged DPS
How do you play this? Bards use music in combination with the five elements to specifically utilize magical effects in their attacks. Through the fusion of tones and elements, the soul power of the Bards is truly strong.
Harmony as Supporter
How do you play this? In the role of a supporter, you manipulate the energy of the five elements to heal allies. You can also drive away evil spirits. The music can also be used to prevent damage.
With shields, you protect allies from incoming damage or can generally reduce damage taken. When things get really dangerous, you envelop your teammates in ice, protecting them from lethal blows.
The story behind the Bard
A look into the lore: With the help of the students of Zhenren Chixia, Taihua Mountain slowly transformed into a peaceful paradise. The students freed the mountain from demons. One of the students, Zhengyang, suffered an accident for which a classmate, Heshuo, was blamed.
Heshuo left the mountain because the disputes between the two students escalated. Heshuo set out to find the true culprit. Some classmates followed him. Those who left the mountain became the first Bards.
What you need to know about Swords of Legends Online
When is the release? You won’t have to wait long for the new theme park MMORPG. Swords of Legends Online plans to release in summer 2021 on Steam, Epic Games, and its own client.
Before the release, alpha and beta tests are expected. Upon release, Swords of Legends Online will be a Buy-2-Play title. The shop will only feature purely cosmetic items for purchase.
What kind of game is this? Swords of Legends Online focuses on an ancient Chinese story revolving around a demonic sword. “SOLO” had already released in China in 2017.
In the game, you can expect:
- Completing quests that are deepened with voiced cutscenes (in English)
- Conquering dungeons and raids
- Riding various animals as mounts
- A type of housing where you can decorate your own houses
- PvP in special 1v1, 3v3, 15v15, or 30v30 – In the open world, PvP is optional and limited to duels
