The MMORPG Swords of Legends Online introduces a new class almost daily. This time it is about the Spellsword. It is especially specialized in dealing damage and can inflict it in both melee and ranged combat.
What can the class do? The Spellsword is a damage dealer through and through. While the previous classes Deathbringer and Berserker had paths intended for healing or tanking, the Spellsword only changes its position on the battlefield through specializations:
- As a Sword Artist, the class takes on the role of a ranged fighter. This way you can throw your swords from a safe distance, and through magic, they always hit their target. In addition, they can use magic to keep enemies at bay and teleport to their magical swords.
- On the other hand, if you prefer to be in melee combat, you should specialize in Blade Storm. This way, you can move fast across the battlefield with sword attacks and stun opponents with a special ability.
Its only “support function” is a teleport that can bring itself and entire groups from one place to another.

What is the story behind the Spellsword? The Spellswords originate from the Taihua Temple, where they are taught this powerful magic. This temple is located at the summit of the mountain of the same name, Taihua, which is covered in snow all year round.
However, there was a split in the temple. In an accident, Chixia, the head of the temple, lost contact with a student who then suffered misfortune. After further incidents and growing disagreements, the order split.
Swords of Legends Online comes to us in 2021
What kind of game is this? Swords of Legends Online is a theme park MMORPG that focuses on an ancient Chinese story about a demonic sword. The game was released in China in 2017 and has received little attention here so far.
In the game, you can:
- Complete quests equipped with voiced cutscenes (in English)
- Visit dungeons and raids
- Ride various animals
- Decorate your own houses
- Engage in PvP in 1v1, 3v3, 15v15, or 30v30. In the open world, there are only optional duels
The release of Swords of Legends in the West is planned for summer 2021 on Epic Games and Steam, although there will first be an alpha and beta test. The MMORPG will be Buy2Play and is expected to have a shop with purely cosmetic content.
