A new MMORPG called Project XT has been announced, reminiscent of a totally crazy superhero game. You beat grotesque creatures with baseball bats, fists, or firearms. The developers have now released the first gameplay.
What kind of game is this? Project XT is a new MMORPG that is set to be released only for PC. It takes place in a world heavily scarred by a world war. After the dropping of nuclear weapons, a peace treaty was signed and an organization was established to maintain peace. You are part of this group.
However, the evil Flarrica have created the “Psychic” in a project, which now threatens peace again.
Many details about the new game are still lacking, as it is still in a very early stage of development:
- You have the choice of 6 different characters, including Jisoda, who fights with a sword, or Salvatore Castellano, who pounds opponents with melee weapons.
- The battles are action-packed and you have to actively aim and dodge attacks yourself.
- It is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
- Overall, the aesthetics and gameplay are reminiscent of superhero games like DC Universe or the dying Marvel’s Avengers.

New studio is working directly on two online games
Who is behind the game? Black Storm Company is a newly founded Korean development studio established in 2021 and has recently moved into a brand new office in February. One of the heads behind the studio is Hong Young-seok, who has already worked on games like Silk Road Online and previously worked at Nexon.
Alongside the new MMORPG Project XT, the studio is also working on Project NB. This is an anime game that somewhat resembles Genshin Impact. There are even fewer details about this, only a trailer featuring several characters, making it possible to play at least in co-op.
The work on both games began in parallel. The studio is currently also looking for new employees to expand their team.
