With Perfect New World, a new MMORPG for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series is coming. At its core, the game is supposed to be a successor to Perfect World, which was released in 2005. The second beta is now officially set to start in November and will bring initial changes compared to May.
What kind of game is this? Perfect New World is a new Asia MMORPG that focuses on action-packed combat. This can take place both on the ground and in the air. A central element will be the ability to fly, which also played an important role in its predecessor.
- During character creation, you have the choice of 3 races: Elvens, Mythics, and Humans. The editor is said to be very detailed.
- You also have the option of at least 3 classes: Berserker, Mysticsword, and Galeblade.
- The game world is said to be completely open and without loading screens. Only instances need to be loaded by you.
- The developers promise a large variety of skills and combos to make the combat system exciting and action-packed. You have a total of 14 slots in the skill bar, significantly more than recently in New World or the upcoming Throne and Liberty.
- The budget for the game is 300 million Yuan (about 38 million euros).
A first beta took place already in May 2023, which, however, received strong criticism. Especially the gender lock, the pixelated graphics, and the few classes disappointed many. However, the developers promised 12 major changes, including more classes and smoother combats. It is not known how many of those will be seen in the upcoming beta.

How do you get into the beta test? All you need to do is register on the official website and fill out a questionnaire. In this questionnaire, the developers want to know what platforms and hardware you own and which MMORPGs you prefer to play.
You will also receive an invitation code for your friends, so you can test together right away. However, it is somewhat unclear how this code works, as the test is intended to be limited in the number of players. It has not been promised that all friends will be invited with a common code.
Additionally, you can spin a lucky wheel once a day to increase your chances or even receive access directly.
When does the beta start? So far, it is only indicated that it will take place in November. Registration for the beta ends on November 8 at 5:59 AM German time.
What do we know about the beta? The description states that new, exciting content will be playable in the beta. However, there are no exact details available.
Furthermore, it is stated that the account or access code for the beta may not be shared. This time, however, the note that the test is under an NDA is missing. It is possible that this time there may be streams and videos of Perfect New World.
Additionally, the developers revealed that the progress from the beta will not be carried over to future tests.
