With Mortal Online 2, a hardcore PvP MMORPG is being released. The developers offer, among other things, an access package for $2,500. What do you get for so much money?
What kind of MMORPG is this? Mortal Online 2 is the successor to the hardcore MMORPG Mortal Online released in 2010. The game is known for ganking, the constant attacking of weaker players. However, this does not really deter PvP fans, because they celebrate the MMORPG precisely because it is so challenging and brutal.
Mortal Online 2 builds on this concept. However, the developers plan to make the MMORPG slightly more accessible. The PvE elements that only appeared tangentially in part 1 will also be further developed for part 2. The focus remains on player-versus-player battles.
What you get for $2,500
What are the developers offering now? The team behind Mortal Online 2 introduced new packages that allow you to support the development of the MMORPG and gain access to the alpha and the release version.
This includes a package for $2,500, which you can purchase on the official website! Included in it is:
- Access to the alpha
- Access to the final game
- A lifetime subscription for Mortal Online 2
- A lifetime subscription for Mortal Online 1
- You can reserve a name for your character
- A limited, physical loot bag, with print and a mysterious key.
- A 1:1 scale Draconigena Armatus helmet
Are there cheaper alternatives? If you pay only $450, you get almost everything that is in the $2,500 package, except for the lifetime subscription. And the helmet has only a scale of 1:3.
The “Standard Package” without all the gimmicks costs $39. That includes access to the alpha.
What is the current status of the game? Currently, a Combat Alpha is running, which allows testing of the combat system. However, the team has now released a roadmap detailing the upcoming content:

When is Mortal Online 2 supposed to be released? The MMORPG does not have a release date yet. It is supposed to remain in the testing phase until the developers are satisfied, and the feedback from testers is correspondingly positive. The release is also planned through Steam.
