The Adventurer’s Domain Online, or TADO, is a new MMORPG on Steam. It is developed by the indie studio Unbalanced Equations.
On January 26, 2023, TADO launched in Early Access on Steam. Almost all reviews there are positive – a total of 87%. Many players emphasize the visual similarity to RuneScape, at least to its version at the release in 2001.
An adventure with many stress-free contents
What kind of game is it? TADO is an indie MMORPG with a third-person perspective. It aims to mix classic aspects of an MMO with those of an action-combat RPG. The developers emphasize that it is not intended to be a high-quality MMORPG, but rather aims at players who want to have a relaxing time.
The game features a classless system, in which you can spend your experience points as you like. You can either level up your character or use the points for your skills. For example, you can specialize in the great sword simultaneously with occultism and become a mix of warrior and mage.
TADO offers various PvE content such as dungeons for single players or groups, but PvP is also possible. However, this is optional and should only take place during certain events.

- Fishing, which you can also do from a boat
- A fleet system where you transport and sell goods with your boat to collect coins

Who is it worth it for? Those who value demanding, highly detailed graphics are absolutely wrong here. The MMORPG targets players who want to enjoy a relaxed adventure while feeling a nostalgic vibe.
