A new MMORPG on Steam, Mir4, has a high player count of over 19,000 and the number of players is growing rapidly. However, the reviews are at a miserable 36%. Apparently, many are only playing the game to earn money through a cryptocurrency.
What is Mir4? Mir4 is an MMORPG for PC, iOS, and Android. It was released on August 25, 2021, on Steam.
At first glance, it looks like one of the new action MMORPGs from Asia. However, you can tell the game was made and intended for mobile.
It has autoplay: This is an absolute “No Go” for many PC fans. Essentially, you hand over all the functions to the computer and don’t do much yourself.
We presented the features of Mir4 on MeinMMO.
This is what makes the game special: In Mir4, players can earn a cryptocurrency called DRACO. You can only receive the currency if you link the game to Facebook, Google, or Apple. Once you reach level 40 in Mir4, you can earn this currency by literally “mining” it.
In the MMORPG, players can mine the ore Darksteel: 100,000 + x pieces of “Darksteel” can then be converted into one DRACO.
For one Coin, you should receive about $3, as the site PcGamesN states. It is said, however, that the company behind the game will adjust this rate depending on how often players convert the material “Darksteel” into DRACO in Mir4.
Because the price of the currency should remain stable.
Mir4 has nearly 19,000 players and the number is growing
How successful is it on Steam? According to Steamcharts, Mir4 is quite successful. It peaked at 19,000 players, and the number of players has been increasing in recent days.
Currently, Mir4 is ranked 7th among the most played MMOs on Steam – it is roughly at the level of Final Fantasy XIV and Black Desert.
These are the reviews: One might think that a game on Steam with increasing player numbers would have glowing reviews, but the opposite is the case. Currently, Mir4 stands at a miserable 36% positive reviews.
Users on Steam criticize the game as “extremely Pay2Win” – it is a mobile game with auto-attack. It is enough to activate auto-play, then you can lay down to sleep.
It is also criticized that the game is technically difficult to access. You simply cannot get into the game.
These users are contradicted by other players who say: Mir4 is simply a mobile game and should be evaluated as such. It is made for players who enjoy games like “Black Desert Mobile”. This is simply a different genre than “PC MMORPG”.
“This is the REVOLUTION – Get all the money”
The majority of the positive reviews relate to the cryptocurrency.
A crypto enthusiast writes: Mir4 is a “BLOCKCHAIN” game. You play this to “convert time into money.”
Players have put money into games for 30 years – for several years now, blockchain games have provided the opportunity to make money with games. That is “the revolution” – everyone should “get the money.”
Other positive reviews simply state: They play Mir4 only to earn money. One shouts: “Where are my DRACO coins?”

Cryptocurrency DRACO falls by 37% in one day
This is a bit bitter: Those who really endure farming “DRACO” in the game are currently facing bitter news.
From yesterday to today, the price of DRACO has fallen by nearly 37%:
- Yesterday you received 2.82 US dollars for one DRACO
- Today, DRACO is only worth 1.79 dollars
Price fluctuations with the cryptocurrency. These are things MMORPG players didn’t have to think about in the past.
