Viking setting with Asian flair is well received
What is Odin: Valhalla Rising? Odin: Valhalla Rising comes from the South Korean developer Lionheart Studio. The publisher is Kakao Games, known primarily for the sandbox MMORPG Black Desert Online.
The game involves fighting the ancient Nordic gods in a Viking world. You will experience a blend of Viking flair and typical Asian design elements.
In terms of gameplay, you have a fast tab-targeting system reminiscent of Guild Wars 2. Alternatively, there’s also the obligatory auto-play mode, where your Viking, who belongs to one of 4 classes, automatically defeats enemies.
When will the game be released here? After the release in Taiwan and South Korea, a global launch of Odin: Valhalla Rising is planned. The worldwide launch of the MMORPG is tentatively scheduled for late 2021 or early 2022.
From the publisher, you can expect even more games. Because Odin: Valhalla Rising is just one of the 4 new MMOs that Kakao Games plans to release this year.
