The exciting mobile MMORPG Project Odin has now received an official title: Odin: Valhalla Rising. Additionally, the developers are revealing more details, and they sound really great.
What is Odin: Valhalla Rising about? The MMORPG takes place in a world of Norse mythology. Famous figures like Odin, Freyja, or Thor are set to play a role.

Exploring the world plays a significant role, as it is possible to climb rock walls and swim to reach remote locations. Furthermore, you will also explore many dungeons.

A mix of Skyrim, Shadow of the Colossus, and AC Valhalla?
What does the game remind you of? Judging by the first screenshots and the trailer, Odin: Valhalla Rising resembles The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim in terms of setting and atmosphere, as well as the PlayStation hit Shadow of the Colossus. For example, you see a gigantic, enormous monster that you need to defeat.
Additionally, there seems to be a bit of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the MMORPG. The freedom of movement found in an Assassin’s Creed game is at least partially reflected in Odin: Valhalla Rising with climbing.
Moreover, there are certain similarities in the scenario to the recently announced MMORPG Project Ragnarök by NetEase.
What is special about it? Based on the screenshots and the video, one would not expect Odin: Valhalla Rising to be a mobile game. The graphics look as if the game could be from the PS4 or Xbox One.
The developers want to showcase what is graphically possible on modern smartphones thanks to Unreal Engine 4.

Where does the game stand? The developers from Lionheart Studio aim to release Odin: Valhalla Rising later this year. However, so far only a mobile version has been mentioned. It is unclear whether the MMORPG will also be available for PC and consoles.
It is also not yet determined whether Europe and the USA will receive the online RPG simultaneously with Asia.
Besides Odin: Valhalla Rising, there are many other interesting mobile MMORPGs that you should keep an eye on or can already play. Maybe there’s something that interests you.
