Due to the enormous success in Asia, the MMORPG ODIN: Valhalla Rising is set to come to the West. With the launch of the pre-registration, there is now another trailer and concrete information about the release.
What are the new details? In March, MeinMMO reported that on April 3, 2025, the pre-registration phase for ODIN: Valhalla Rising will begin. At the same time, there was specific information about the final release, which is expected to take place in April.
- The release of ODIN: Valhalla Rising is already on April 29, 2025, just a few weeks after the start of pre-registration.
- The MMORPG will be available for PC and Mobile (Google Play and App Store), with crossplay supported between platforms.
- The client will be available for preload from April 28, 2025.
- The pre-registration will run until April 21, 2025. Those who secure a character name on a server early will receive various in-game items worth at least 170 US dollars as a reward – such as summoning tickets for special mounts and avatars.

What kind of MMORPG is ODIN? The new game from developer Lionheart Studio and publisher Kakao Games will take you into a world inspired by Norse mythology. You will visit places like Midgard, Jotunheim, Nidavellir, and Alfheim. You will encounter elves, giants, dwarves, and mythological beasts. And in the lore, famous figures like Odin and Loki play an important role.
You can choose from four classes:
- Sorceress: Uses spells to deal high area damage to many enemies. Can summon and control enemies.
- Warrior: Protects allies as a tank but can also charge offensively to the front. Has high survivability skills.
- Rogue: Deals high damage through physical attacks, especially to single targets. Can act with a bow from a distance or in close combat.
- Priest: Heals and supports allies but can also take on the role of tank or deal damage.
The developers promise a massive world without loading screens, numerous dungeons, as well as raid challenges and PvP battles involving two groups of 30 players each. Additional features like guild wars are expected to follow at a later date.
Due to its mobile roots, ODIN will likely offer an autoplay function. However, this will be ineffective for various activities, such as when fighting strong bosses, whose area attacks must be dodged manually.
Meanwhile, a spinoff of ODIN called Project Q has also been announced. More information about this and about the success of ODIN in its home market can be found here: German fans are eagerly waiting for a new MMORPG – This is a huge success elsewhere and earns millions
