The MMORPG Past Fate has been in development for several years but is expected to be released on Steam in August 2022.
What kind of game is this? Past Fate throws you into a medieval fantasy world. The open-world MMORPG lets you explore numerous continents and islands. You also have the option to travel by sea in Past Fate. The MMORPG relies on an active combat system where you must aim and dodge attacks yourself.
In PvE, the game offers you dungeons and raids that you can enter together with other players. If you play on a PvP server, you can participate in battles. You may need to defend your ship during a sea battle or ensure that your fortress is not captured.
In May 2022, Past Fate showcased its first gameplay from the alpha. The upcoming version on Steam will initially be the early access.

Different experiences depending on play style
Past Fate focuses on player freedom. It is not particularly geared towards PvP, PvE, or the story, but rather on what you want to make of it.
These contents are offered by the MMORPG:
- 5 different classes: Warrior, Necromancer, Mage, Pirate, Priest
- You can sail and explore new islands, like in Lost Ark
- A story where you uncover secrets and solve puzzles
- Your own kingdom. But beware: Other players might attack you, destroy your buildings, and take over.
- Day and night mode with different conditions. Dark mages, for example, have an advantage at night.
- Life skills, such as fishing and mining
- A new dungeon is added every 5 levels starting from level 10
- Endgame raids await you for 25 players. Some of the raids are said to be very difficult and allegedly only possible for well-drilled guilds.
When will Past Fate be released? Starting August 15, 2022, you can purchase and play the open alpha of the MMORPG on Steam. The developers note that it will likely have many bugs at first.
Past Fate will be Buy2Play, but we do not yet know the exact price.
