The MMORPG Elyon is developed by Bluehole, the developers of PUBG and TERA, and was released in 2021 in Korea. They have now officially announced the beta for the West. We at MeinMMO will tell you how to participate.
What has happened? The developers of Elyon have announced the start of a first beta here in the West. This is scheduled to take place from May 6 at 2:00 PM to May 10 at 10:00 AM.
In the beta, you can try out the 5 different classes, learn about their abilities, and participate in realm-versus-realm battles. You will not retain any progress from the beta.
The version of the game is based on the Korean version from January 27. There will be English, German, French, and Spanish localization and specific servers in Europe.
How do you sign up for the beta? To do so, you just need to register on the official website (via Elyon). You can do this from now until April 25.
Selected participants will receive an email on April 27 with a code and an additional code to bring a friend into the beta for Elyon.
The preload for the beta starts on May 4 at 2:00 PM our time.
MMORPG A:IR has been completely reworked and is now Elyon
What is Elyon anyway? Elyon was originally announced as A:IR and was supposed to focus on airships and aerial combat.
However, in 2020, a major overhaul was announced:
- The combat system has been revised. From the hybrid system, it became a pure action combat, and the air elements have been drastically reduced
- There were many adjustments to the classes, skills
- The focus of the game shifted from PvE to PvP, especially towards huge realm vs realm battles with 300 players

When will the MMORPG be released? Officially, Elyon is supposed to be released in 2021. It will be published by Kakao Games, the former publisher of Black Desert. A release is expected no earlier than the second half of the year.
