Justice Online is an MMORPG for PC that was launched in China in 2018. It impresses mainly with its strong graphics and action-packed combat. In 2022, the game is expected to be brought to the West by the developer NetEase.
What kind of game is this? Justice Online is the flagship MMORPG from NetEase, known mainly for Revelation Online and the development of Diablo Immortal. The world is based on a Wuxia novel and offers exciting “Martial Arts” battles.
Justice Online is mainly characterized by the following contents:
- An extremely detailed character editor without gender lock
- At least 8 different classes – 7 at launch and recently the class Hong Yin (via YouTube)
- An action-packed combat system without fixed targets
- A very deep story with many choices and cutscenes
- Cool movement styles with air jumps and running on water
- A detailed housing system with personal fields and animal breeding
- Dungeons and raids in PvE
- PvP in various arenas, possibly also in the open world
- A beautiful graphics that relies on ray tracing and mesh shading
In basic features, Justice Online is reminiscent of Swords of Legends Online, which was released here in 2021. However, it focuses on a more dynamic combat system, a completely open game world, and more diverse biomes such as deserts or rocky islets with lava.

Release Q4 2022 in the West
When is the game coming to us? According to the website MMORPG.com, NetEase is planning the release of Justice Online for the fourth quarter of 2022 (i.e., October to December). A western and international release of the MMORPG is planned.
However, it is unclear how much of the current content will already be included in the western version. While the release for the international market is planned, there will be further updates for Justice Online in China.
How does the game finance itself? In China, it operates similarly to Swords of Legends, with an initially free version, for which you will later need to purchase playtime in hours.
How the payment model will look in the West is currently unknown.
Is the game Pay2Win? This accusation exists because you can directly purchase equipment items with real money. They are not stronger than the items you can obtain in the game itself, but they are a direct shortcut to the endgame.
However, it is not known whether this will also be the case in the western version.
Can you play Justice Online from Germany? Sort of. For a while, you could create an account for Justice Online with a phone number from the West and use the free time. However, NetEase now only accepts phone numbers from China.
If you can organize such a number through contacts, you can already try out the MMORPG. However, there is no English patch for the game.
What do you think of Justice Online? Are you interested or have the latest MMORPGs from Asia rather put you off?
The MMORPG made headlines here in the West when a player invested 1.3 million euros in a character that a friend then sold for a much lower price.
