Blue Protocol is a new anime MMORPG set to be released in 2023. However, it has recently become a bit quiet around the game. New videos of the classes have now been released in Korea. Furthermore, there will be significantly more gameplay to see starting from March 31.
What is happening with Blue Protocol right now? Actually, the new MMORPG was supposed to launch in spring 2023 in Japan and then come to the West during the year. The publisher here is Amazon. But even before the first network test in January, the bad news came: The test was postponed by more than two months due to a serious bug.
Since then, only a few pieces of information have been shared. The western website has not received any updates since December 2022. Now, Smilegate, the developer of Lost Ark, has released the Korean website for Blue Protocol. And there are a few new details.
Some characters and their respective voice actors are introduced. Additionally, there are small gameplay videos of the 5 classes:

The network test starts on March 31, finally bringing more gameplay videos
What is the status of the network test now? The first major test since 2021 will take place starting March 31 in Japan. It is primarily about stressing the servers. Therefore, there are several restrictions.
Testers can level only up to level 20, only play the first story chapter, and do not have access to all quests.
Only players living in Japan are officially allowed to participate in the test. Some players have registered for it using VPNs, but there have also been reports of bans, as the fan site Blue Protocol Database reports (via Twitter).
Will there finally be more gameplay? Very likely, as the test is not under NDA. In a livestream, the developers only asked to avoid story spoilers to not ruin the excitement for other players.
When can we play Blue Protocol? We in the West should also be able to play a beta of Blue Protocol soon. You can already register for it now. However, it is not yet known when the beta will exactly take place.
The same goes for a release date. So far, it has only been said that Blue Protocol is expected to be released in the second half of 2023.
