On August 6th, the new MMORPG Bless Unleashed launched on Steam. Since then, it has been struggling with reviews, but it can still attract tens of thousands of players. With strong figures, the game even makes it into the top 10 on Steam.
Where does Bless Unleashed stand on Steam? After a strong start on Steam on August 6th, Bless Unleashed was able to accumulate even more players over the weekend. Currently, the MMORPG stands at:
- 72,963 current players (6:50 PM)
- 76,273 peak players
- 44,058 average players
Thus, it ranks 7th among the most played games on Steam, ahead of long-time hits like Warframe and Rainbow Six: Siege (via steamcharts.com). Even during beta, it was able to attract more players than ESO and FFXIV.
How well is Bless Unleashed received: The reviews have also improved since release. While Bless Unleashed initially received mostly negative reviews, it currently has at least 50% across all ratings (via Steam).

New MMORPG Excites, but Struggles with Its Name
The community states that particularly the strong combat system, the graphics, and the PvE can persuade players. In the open world, bosses with unique mechanics appear, which players face together.
Even critics praise the combat system and compare it to Monster Hunter. Bless Unleashed offers action combat, where you must actively attack and dodge instead of selecting your opponent with tab-targeting.
However, a part of the payment system is criticized. At a higher level, for example, the world PvP is supposed to be unlocked and you can be attacked by other players at any time. To bypass this, you must pay real money for a one-hour pass to be freed from PvP.
Additionally, Bless Unleashed struggles with its name and the similarity to the heavily flopped Bless Online. Although both MMORPGs play in the same world, they come from different studios and have little to do with each other:
