The new MMORPG Swords of Legends Online (SOLO) allows players to buy their own island for housing and give it their own name. And names like those expected on the Internet have emerged.
What’s going on? The housing in SOLO takes place on a private island. This can be acquired as soon as players reach the max level Student 1. After purchasing their island, each player can then give it a name.
While most players use the feature to make their island their real home, others express their own unique sense of humor.
A classic among island names is “Pen Island,” which in one word corresponds to a rather juvenile sense of humor.
However, in an area of 19 islands, a complete neighborhood has sought and found each other. The focus here is on the English word “Cum,” a vulgar term for ejaculate.

What kind of neighborhood is this? In the Cumulus Realm in Area 420, there are 12 players who all seem to share the same sense of humor. User MasterReaper351 says he started the wordplay with the name “Cumtopia” and the others then followed suit.
That’s why the islands there have names like:
- Cum Island
- Cums Worth
- Cum-de-sac
- Cumberland
- Cumlumbia
This very humor has led to the fact that no LEGO MMO has been developed in which everyone can build freely:

The reddit user Kingflares shared a corresponding image in a thread that he titled: “That’s why we need a homeowners association”:
How is the naming received? On reddit, the names surprisingly receive little criticism. Especially the pun “Cumlumbia” has been highlighted positively multiple times.
Some users also see the error more with Swords of Legends themselves, who named their realm “Cumulus Realm.” Corresponding puns were therefore expected on the Internet.
User Jonestown_Juice summarizes the action as follows: “The best thing about MMORPGs is playing with other players. The worst thing about MMORPGs is playing with other players.” That probably sums it up well in most cases.
Almost always, when players have the opportunity to create something themselves in MMOs, it usually ends up with someone doing something with swastikas or penises. So it is in this case.
