Jade Dynasty used to be a popular MMORPG in the Asian style. It was released in 2007, and its end came in 2018. Until now. The developers are releasing a sequel next year: World of Jade Dynasty.
In August 2021, the developers Perfect World Games showed the first 4k gameplay of World of Jade Dynasty. However, there was still no information on when the MMORPG would be released in Europe. In China, it will already go online in 2022.
Since 2014, the studio has been developing World of Jade Dynasty. Back then, the servers of the original Jade Dynasty were still online. In 2018, the developers closed the game with a heartless letter to the community.
In 2023, after 9 years of development, the sequel will be released: Jade Dynasty as a modern MMORPG. At the same time, Perfect World is working on a mobile MMO titled Jade Dynasty 2.
What kind of game is it? World of Jade Dynasty is a new version of the classic Asian MMORPG that was played for 11 years. Whether there are strong parallels to the original is still unclear. However, we know that it will take place in the same universe.
The graphics, especially the environment, are very detailed and beautiful. Alpha testers compared the game to Swords of Legends, but noted that the graphics of World of Jade Dynasty are more appealing.

This is what the community says: Users on reddit celebrate recent screenshots from the game world of World of Jade Dynasty. However, they criticize the character design, stating that it seems rather boring compared to the graphically demanding world.
Additionally, some users reject Perfect World as the publisher and speculate that the game will feature Pay2Win aspects.
